EPIC YOUNG ADULT RETREAT 2016: "FISHERS OF MEN"

Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men.”

EPIC Ministry hosted its February retreat, “Fishers of Men,” at the Windward Retreat Center in Ka'a'awa. This retreat was especially tailored to young adults (ages 18-39 years old), and it was the first time we will be hosting a retreat at the Windward Retreat Center.  The retreat center building had a 640-square foot central meeting hall that flowed through four sliding doors onto a 300-square foot deck. It had an expansive yard space with the Ko'olau Mountains in the background where many participants camped out.  This beautiful environment was an ideal setting for us to host this EPIC Ministry young adult retreat.

Jesus challenged his disciples to evangelize and become "fishers of men."  Throughout the weekend, we focused on this theme in different ways.  Many discovered new relationships with one another, and many had very deep experiences and encounters with the Lord throughout the weekend.  This was definitely a moving, inspiring retreat for everyone who attended.
