WHAT IS EPIC MINISTRY?

EPIC stands for "Ever Present In Christ". Established in 2013, we are a peer ministry of young adults, ages 18-39, with a deep desire to know, love, and serve the Lord, focusing on community and mission. And our mission is simple, yet challenging: "To empower young adults to follow Christ by spiritual, social, and service paths."

Using the pastoral plan, Sons and Daughters of the Light, as an example, EPIC Ministry's goals are to connect young adults to Jesus Christ, to His Church, to the mission of the Church in the world, and to each other in a peer community.

"Young adults" are not easily categorized as a single type of people.  Young adults can be defined as “people in their late teens, twenties, and thirties; single, married, divorced, or widowed; and with or without children.”  Young adults each have unique experiences and challenges.  They come from a variety of cultures and backgrounds.  Young adults are college students, working professionals, military personnel, professed religious men and women, clergy, unemployed, Catholic or not Catholic.

EPIC Ministry welcomes young adults from all walks of life. The people may be different, but the mission and goals remain the same.

FORMING RELATIONSHIPS. FORMING COMMUNITY.

One of the primary goals of EPIC Ministry is forming a Christ-centered peer community of Catholic young adults for the sole purpose of growing in faith together.

We accept young adults no matter where they are in their lives, and we challenge each of our members to change their minds and hearts to the Lord through prayer and through deep, personal relationships with one another.

​EPIC Ministry gathers weekly to sing together, share together, learn together, laugh together, play together, and pray together.
